More and more people are buying bicycles. With the highest gas prices since 2014, another State gasoline tax increase taking effect on July 1st, and not wanting to use public transportation because of the pandemic, stores can’t keep up with the demand.

Windy City Hardware at 3316 S. Halsted has been serving the Bridgeport and McKinley Park area for over 20 years. The business is both a hardware store and bike shop.
There are many classic refurbished Schwinn’s for sale and other makes. There is also a Schwinn bicycle for sale that dates back to the 1940’s. Prices range from $275-$650.
