These festive occasions often attract a diverse crowd, including families, friends, and neighbors, who collectively contribute to enhancing the overall safety of the area. The presence of a large gathering and increased social interactions create a strong deterrent for potential criminals, as they are less likely to engage in unlawful behavior when surrounded by a watchful and vigilant community. Additionally, the increased foot traffic and active participation of residents during parades and special events lead to improved neighborhood surveillance, making it more difficult for criminal activities to go unnoticed.
