This evening, in the McKinley Park neighborhood, hundreds of residents convened for a delightful Lenten Fish Fry hosted at Blessed Sacrament, located at 3745 S. Paulina. For a mere $12, attendees were presented with the choice of indulging in either Fish or Shrimp, or a selection of 3 tostadas, or Fish Soup, or Stuffed Poblano peppers. Each meal also included a salad, and delicious cake for desert. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus #1063, the Fish Fry aimed to raise funds for Blessed Sacrament. The Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Fr. Ismael Sandoval-Manzo (pictured above) expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of the fish fry.
The atmosphere was filled with the savory scent of frying fish as neighbors mingled and relished the culinary offerings. With its reasonable pricing and an enticing variety of options, the Fish Fry at Blessed Sacrament became a flavorful highlight for the McKinley Park community.
