Three increadable events took place on October 23 in the McKinley Park Neighborhood. In the morning an amazing Arts & Crafts Show “Day of the Dead”. took place in the McKinley Park Auditorium. Followed by a Trunk or Treat hosted by the McKinley Park American Legion Post #. Than a fundraiser by the McKinley Park Play Garden. All Three events nothing shot of amazing. Few neighborhoods in Chicago can boast of having 3 wonderful neighborhood events in a single day.

McKinley American Legion Post 231 Halloween Truck or Treat
The William McKinley American Legion Post 231 held their 3rd annual Halloween Trunk or Treat. A fantastic event. with a high turn out. Lost of candy, food music and costumes. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW

OKTOBERFEST-McKinley Community Play Garden Fundraiser
The McKinley Community Play Garden held a fundraiser. On the crisp autumn evening neighbors gathered around fires engaging in good conversation, with drinks and food. The event raised $1,417.51. All for a good cause.
