Spring Scavenger Hunt with Pups at McKinley Park Huge Success

It’s because of volunteers like the McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council that help make Bridgeport and McKinley Park a great place to live. The McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council hosted their Spring Scavenger Hunt with Pups. The four legged friends and their peoples hunted around the park in search of items on a beautiful Sunday.

Some of our greatest historical and artistic treasures we place with curators in museums; others we take for walks

Pet Pantry coming soon to the McKinley Dog Park

The group of volunteers are always looking for way to make the Dog Park better. They are adding a Pet Pantry to the park. It will be managed by Obi’s Pet  Pantry and will be accessible 24/7 with no costs for any item. They will be offering everything from food, treats and basic grooming supplies to leashes, collars and Bowles. They will be accepting new and very gently used items.

Thank You to the McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council. You are All Neighborhood Heroes

The McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council are a group of volunteers who had the vision and determination to have a Dog Park build in McKinley Park. At the time there were no other dog parks on Chicago’s south side. They would not take no for an answer. Held fund raisers, got the Park District behind their vision. It’s an incredible dog park and they do a wonderful job at maintaining the dog park along with their cool special events.
