About Steve

Born to immigrant parents who did not speak English, yet worked hard to raise their large family. Steve started his adult life as a high school dropout.  After much work and a few breaks, he completed the GED, finished college, graduated from law school and passed the Illinois Bar. Steve was fortunate to be mentored by some of the most respected lawyers in Illinois. Steve has been practicing law for over 20 years and has seen some intriguing cases.  Here are a few:

Steve stands among a select group of attorneys in the United States who successfully demonstrated a link between Atrial Fibrillation and a car accident. His remarkable legal prowess secured a substantial monetary award for his client during a binding arbitration proceeding against the insurance company. Such was the impact of his performance that, following the hearing, opposing counsel was not only impressed but also suggested that Steve’s masterful direct examination of a witness should be recorded and made available for all law school students to witness, serving as a shining example of professionalism and an effective approach to conducting direct examinations.

Steve also served as legal counsel for a family affected by a Metra train derailment, achieving a favorable outcome on behalf of his clients.

Steve has broad experience working on personal injury cases, wrongful death cases, criminal cases, contract cases and Real Estate Closings.
