Supporting our Nation’s Heroes. On Veterans Day the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors hockey team will be playing in a benefit hockey game at the Chicago Blackhawks Practice rink at 9:40pm. The game is hosted by Steve Demitro.
The Chicago Blackhawks Warriors Hockey Program is the military veteran team of the Chicago Blackhawks and was founded in 2015 in conjunction with USA Disabled Hockey Program to give injured or disabled in the course of their service the opportunity to play in an environment suited to their needs. The program trains them in skills needed to use hockey as a rehabilitation tool to overcome physical and mental disabilities sustained in the service of our nation.
They are an Adult level hockey team that relies solely on fundraising and donations to support their team throughout the season. Please make a donation if you can. Thank you!
You can help the Blackhawks Warriors raise funds and gear up for the USA Wounded Warriors Hockey Disabled tournament by making a donation with their website at https://www.chicagoblackhawkswarriors.com
