The Bridgeport Restaurant 3500 S. Halsted is a well-known establishment in this city. It has been around for over 100 years and gone through several owners. The resultant will close at the end of the June.
It’s current owner of the building and restaurant Irais Rodriguez will be retiring and enjoying life. Irais has worked 16 hour days since he took over the restaurant 12 years ago.
Irais is in talks with a few people who are interested in having a restaurant at the Bridgeport Restaurant. The location will be a hot spot when the New Ramova opens later this year.
We wish Irais all the best in his retirement and know that he will enjoy it. Thanks for everything, Irais!
