The Dave Brady Memorial Food Pantry invites the food insecure to pick-up food the first and third Monday of each month at 3528 S. Hermitage (the former Our Lady of Good Counsel rectory basement). Food is distributed between 11:30 a.m.-2:00p.m. for those residing within the boundaries of Ashland to Western & Pershing to the river. The majority of food is provided by the Greater Chicago Food Depository which requires record of recipients; ID is required.
For over 25 years The Dave Brady Memorial Food Pantry has served the residents of McKinley Park. The Pantry originated at St. Maurice Church on 36th & Hoyne; it is now run by the volunteers of Blessed Sacrament Parish.
Donations are accepted at time of distribution.
