You can now order a tree in front of your house through the City of Chicago. Chicago’s Bureau of Forestry plants trees along the public right of way. Benefits of trees include improved air quality, reduction of emissions, reduction of smog, reduction of green house gasses, reduction of the “Urban Heat Island” effect, noice abatement, increased psychological well being, improved aesthetics, increased property value, storm water attenuation and more.
