Bridgeport is a neighborhood rich in history and culture, and one strong neighborhood organization is the St. Joseph Club located at 2724 S. Union. Founded on August 13th 1926, the St. Joseph Club is one of the cornerstone’s of the community for nearly a century. And on August 13th 2022, they celebrated their 96th anniversary with a special neighborhood festival that drew hundreds of people from the community. Full of good food, drink and music. It was a fun-filled event for the community. The celebration was not only enjoyable but also clear evidence that this origination will be an important part of Bridgeport’s future for many years to come.
